Most kids have a fascination for dinosaurs. Some adults do too. I know my son had an extensive dinosaur toycollection when he was young. He also had a dinosaur costume for several years at Halloween and even wore them often at playtime.

Looking at some of the cute dinosaur Halloween costumes for kids, reminds me of those days and the ones available now are so much more detailed and cuter.  Here are my picks.

Barney and Friends-Barney Child Costume
Probably the most famous dinosaur of all is the beloved purple dinosaur-Barney. Kids love him. Adults, not so much. Still, little kids look adorable in Barney costumes. This one comes with the jumpsuit, head piece, foot covers and mittens. It’s made of polyester and needs to be spot cleaned. It fits child sizes 4-6X and chest 34″, 26″, and 37″. Dog Dinosaur Costume

This one cracks me up. Jurassic Bark! It includes the hood and body and can be hand washed. This one got good reviews but the one complaint was the sizing was too small, so here’s how you determine the size. It comes in 3 sizes. Measure your dog’s back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. For Small to fit, your dog’s back should measure between 11″-14″ and his collar size (or neck size) should be between 14″-16.5″. For medium, your dog’s back should measure between 14.5″-17″ and his collar size should be between 17″-20″.
